Customer Case:

Turning Baltic Sea Research into an Engaging Animation

How do you condense the work of 1,000 scientists into single video?

How do you condense six years of research, the work of 1,000 scientists, and hundreds of pages of data into just two minutes? This was the challenge faced by HELCOM, the Baltic Marine Environment Protection Commission, as they compiled the most comprehensive assessment of the state of the Baltic Sea. The goal was to make the core findings easily accessible to decision-makers, researchers, and the general public.

This is where animation came into play. Together with HELCOM, we developed a dynamic and visually engaging video that transforms complex information into an easy-to-understand format.
When information is clear and compelling, it reaches its audience more effectively—and makes an impact. This project showcases how powerful storytelling and visual communication can support environmental protection and decision-making.

📽️ Watch the animation and see the latest state of the Baltic Sea.

“Working with Antti was smooth and flexible once again. The result is a dynamic animation that successfully and engagingly distills a vast and complex research project into two minutes.”

— Eeva Nyyssönen, Communication Secretary, HELCOM
